The room I booked was great and light with a lawned garden. An excellent breakfast. The location was charming and pleasant. Really close to the downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot. Rewritten: I was delighted with the bright and spacious room that came with a lovely lawned garden.

We had a fantastic visit to the nearby D-Day Memorial, a must-see for history lovers! The kids were captivated by the exhibits and it was a great educational experience for them. The location of the B&B, in the peaceful countryside, allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and truly immerse ourselves in the Normandy countryside.
For dads, it would be great if the B&B had some outdoor activities for children to enjoy.

I had a wonderful stay at La Gloriette. the room in the separate building was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. I loved having my own patio, and the shared kitchenette was conveniently located next to it. Nathalie, the hostess, was very welcoming and we had enjoyable conversations in both English and French. the breakfast served in the main house was fabulous and definitely started my day off right.
I can't wait to come back to this relaxing and inviting place. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Loved waking up to a French breakfast every morning! The terrace provided lovely views of the garden. And who could resist exploring Bayeux and the famous tapestry nearby?
Sitting outside in the freezing wind was such a delightful way to connect to the world with the "superb" WIFI service.

The room was cozy and comfortable, with a private terrace where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful views. It had a private bathroom with a refreshing shower, perfect after a day of exploring. As trekkers, we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and felt right at home.
Some may find the room on the 2nd floor a bit inconvenient, but that's just my personal preference.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was conveniently situated near the attractions we wanted to visit. the room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a rustic style. the breakfast provided was delightful and of good quality, and we enjoyed starting our day with a delicious meal.
There were a few issues during our stay that were disappointing. the Wi-Fi signal in the hotel was unreliable and constantly turning on and off, making it difficult for us to use.

What an incredible stay! The rooms were beyond comfortable, with fantastic ensuite bathrooms and even a tea-making facility. The outside table and chairs were a great addition, perfect for enjoying the sun. The owner was so friendly and accommodating, even when we made a date mistake. They provided us with accurate information about the area, and having access to the adjoining kitchen was a stroke of genius. I would absolutely go back again to this beautiful, quiet village location with tastefully furnished rooms. The hosts were welcoming and served a delicious breakfast. The beds were super comfy and the immaculate cleanliness was impressive. Definitely recommend for a trip to the landing beaches, tapestry, and coast. The nearby markets in Bayeux and Port en Bessin were excellent too. And let's not forget about the free parking, restaurant, and pet-friendly policy! A mind-blowing experience in the best accommodation we've had in 5 weeks of traveling.
